Summer at Con Brio offers a meaningful shift in rhythm — one that allows space for reflection, integration, specialized study, and thoughtful preparation for the opportunities ahead.

The pacing is intentionally designed to provide flexibility throughout the summer months while supporting annual planning, continuity, momentum, and long-term musical development.

July

Reflection, Planning, & Specialized Study

July serves as the studio’s annual reflection, planning, and preparation phase within Summer Atelier. During this time, families receive curated asynchronous materials and advisement through the Online Piano Portal, including curriculum and repertoire planning, parent training videos, artistic guidance, and specialized coursework designed around your current level and upcoming goals.

This work is created to be flexible, self-paced, and cumulative — allowing families to review materials from anywhere while still remaining connected to piano development.

July Tuition Structure

July Atelier rate is applied to the month of July only and is billed at 85% of your usual tuition rate

August

Specialized Coursework & Implementation

In August, students engage in a blend of asynchronous instruction and one-on-one implementation lessons. Students continue refining their specialized coursework through guided activities, repertoire confirmation, certification preparation, goal-setting, recordings, and annual preparation.

Families anticipating August travel or scheduling conflicts may apply unused August implementation lessons toward September scheduling. Summer Session coursework, planning materials, and asynchronous preparation continue regardless of lesson timing to support continuity entering the Fall session.

August Tuition Structure

In August, tuition automatically returns to each student’s usual base program subscription as one-on-one implementation lessons resume. For example,

All other lesson formats continue unchanged under their normal membership structure.

Pause Pass Note

Summer Atelier Session operates as a required part of Con Brio’s year-round membership structure and is therefore ineligible for Pause Pass.
