July
Reflection, Planning, & Specialized Study
July serves as the studio’s annual reflection, planning, and preparation phase within Summer Atelier. During this time, families receive curated asynchronous materials and advisement through the Online Piano Portal, including curriculum and repertoire planning, parent training videos, artistic guidance, and specialized coursework designed around your current level and upcoming goals.
This work is created to be flexible, self-paced, and cumulative — allowing families to review materials from anywhere while still remaining connected to piano development.
July Tuition Structure
July Atelier rate is applied to the month of July only and is billed at 85% of your usual tuition rate
August
Specialized Coursework & Implementation
In August, students engage in a blend of asynchronous instruction and one-on-one implementation lessons. Students continue refining their specialized coursework through guided activities, repertoire confirmation, certification preparation, goal-setting, recordings, and annual preparation.

Families anticipating August travel or scheduling conflicts may apply unused August implementation lessons toward September - December scheduling. Summer Session coursework, planning materials, and asynchronous preparation continue regardless.
August Tuition Structure
In August, tuition automatically returns to each student’s usual base program subscription and base tier rate.
Pause Pass Note
Summer Atelier functions as part of Con Brio’s ongoing year-round learning structure. Please review the following important details:
Proficiency Club
Proficiency Club memberships are not eligible for Pause Pass during Summer Session.
Private Study
Private Study memberships are eligible for Pause Pass during Summer Session.
Alternative to Pause Pass
Families who do not wish to continue membership through Summer Session may instead terminate membership and pursue re-enrollment for Fall Term.
In this case, the standard Membership Enrollment Fee must be submitted by July 14 to begin Fall Term enrollment and scheduling.
Private Study: Re-enrollment does not guarantee the student’s previous lesson day or time and is subject to availability.
Proficiency Club: Terminating membership relinquishes the student’s current Club placement. Returning students are subject to reassessment, availability, and appropriate placement upon re-enrollment. This may include placement in a different Club or division with additional review before progressing.

Summer Atelier is intentionally designed to be flexible, self-paced, and accessible from anywhere. Families are encouraged to engage with materials at a pace that works thoughtfully alongside summer travel, activities, and seasonal rhythm.
If your family anticipates needing additional flexibility, you may elect to roll August implementation lessons forward for use between September–December while continuing to engage with Summer Atelier materials, reflection, and planning activities throughout July and August.

Yes. Families may utilize both August lessons, one August lesson, or roll both implementation lessons forward, depending on their unique summer availability and scheduling needs.

Asynchronous instruction refers to guided materials, videos, coursework, recordings, planning resources, and implementation activities delivered through the Online Piano Portal for families to complete flexibly within the designated timeframe.

All lesson programs are ineligible for Pause Pass during the month of July.
Because August Atelier coursework, implementation, and seasonal preparation remain integrated within Proficiency Club pathways, Proficiency Club memberships are ineligible for Pause Pass during August.
Traditional Private Study and Andante Private Study memberships may elect to utilize Pause Pass during the month of August if desired.
