Con Brio’s Annual Concert Series
A Formal Showcase of Musical Growth, Skill & Artistry
WHAT ARE ANNUAL CONCERTS?
Annual Concerts are Con Brio’s formal performance showcases — held twice per year — offering students the chance to present polished, expressive pieces for an audience in an experienced setting.
A Stage for Artistry
In the Annual Concert setting, students learn to shape music with
expression and confidence, using sound to tell a story and connect with
their listeners. Pieces are usually one minute or more, memorized, and
thoughtfully prepared — giving students the opportunity to demonstrate
musical maturity through tone, phrasing, and dynamic expression.
A Studio Tradition
Annual Concerts bring families, friends, and musicians together in a
signature Con Brio experience — elegant, memorable, and
meaningful. Performers of all ages, from young beginners to advancing
tweens and adults, share the stage, creating moments of inspiration,
connection, and community pride.

What to Expect
Formal Showcase: Students take the stage with one polished piece — though in later concerts, many choose to share two contrasting works to show growth in style, technique, and musical imagination. Concerts often include ensemble features as well, from duets and trios to other collaborative music-making.
Photo-Ready Moments: Dress attire is elevated — students look and feel like artists.
Beautiful Venues: Concerts take place in recital halls, chapels, or performance spaces that enhance the experience
Participation is typically recommended for students who have:
~2 or more years of formal lessons
Completed about 4 Piano Party performances (or equivalent experience)
Been approved by teacher discretion based on readiness
