Each student will:

Receive a gemstone in their lesson

Take home a pouch + card

Write a short note for another pianist

Before the Event: Writing Your Gemstone Note

Each student will bring their chosen gemstone to the Piano Party, placed inside a small pouch along with a note written for another pianist.

Write something to make another pianist smile! It could be:

A kind compliment

Something you love about piano

A fun tip that helps you

A cheerful or creative message

At the Piano Party

Upon arrival, all gemstone pouches will be placed together in a special collection.

After the performances, during our reception time, students will be invited to take part in the exchange.

The Exchange

Each student will select one mystery gemstone pouch to take home.

This activity is a reminder that being a musician is not only about performing—but also about supporting and encouraging one another.

After a group studio photo, we’ll move right into the Mystery Gem Exchange, followed by time to mingle and enjoy refreshments.

Here you will find a beautiful gemstone-inspired piano solo book, Harmonic Gems, that students may enjoy exploring at home. It’s a fun way to experience music through color, texture, and imagination beyond their regular lesson pieces.
